Context

Pashion Footwear makes the world’s first fully convertible high heel. Pashion Footwear’s mission is to empower women across the globe to find customizable shoes that fit their unique lifestyles.

Pashion Footwear experimented with social commerce platforms like LTK and Impact.com before seeking out LoudCrowd for a more creator-centric, automated, and affordable affiliate program. At the same time, Pashion Footwear wanted to bring optimized, forward-looking commerce experiences to its customers with Influencer Storefronts.

Solution

Pashion Footwear partnered with LoudCrowd to manage the Pashion Convertible Club, which is focused on (1) boosting creator conversion rates by pushing creator-led shopping through Influencer Storefronts, (2) incentivizing creators to post by offering automated rewards in exchange for UGC, and (3) launching activation contests for special product drops and promotions.

Pashion Footwear adopted LoudCrowd’s Influencer Storefront and affiliate code solution for any interested creator. By electing to use Storefronts over a traditional (and outdated) affiliate solution, Pashion Footwear looked to:

  • Increase conversion rates for social media traffic by bridging the social/eComm gap
  • Decrease costs of new customer acquisition in the highly competitive fashion space
  • Create a new channel for meaningful gross merchandise value

Execution

Pashion Footwear launched the brand-new Convertible Club affiliate program in September 2023. The program leverages LoudCrowd’s integration with Loyalty Lion to offer site points in exchange for UGC content on Instagram and TikTok and to automatically reward creators with site points for posting about Pashion Footwear.

Additionally, each approved applicant into the program is offered their own personalized Influencer Storefront on the Pashion Footwear website, without the use of any development resources. Creators earn commissions by sharing their Storefront on social media and driving sales, all of which are automatically tracked and paid out by LoudCrowd. Each creator accepted into the program receives a named discount code (automatically created in Shopify by LoudCrowd) to share with shoppers arriving at their personal Storefront.

Each member’s Influencer Storefront works seamlessly by:

  • Automatically adding the creator’s Instagram and TikTok UGC featuring Pashion products to their Storefront
  • Allowing the member to easily curate personalized bundles on their own with LoudCrowd’s product picker
  • Driving more conversions with a dynamic, automatic, and personal named discount for any prospective shopper to the Storefront

Pashion Footwear also used its Storefront creators for big campaigns. Most recently, Pashion Footwear boosted each creator’s discount from 20% to 30% for its Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaigns. On top of that, the affiliate that shared the most creative piece of content received a free pair of Pashions. LoudCrowd’s Challenge and Campaign functionality streamlined the contest by automating program communications and reward delivery.

Results

After just a few months, 180 Storefront owners have created a new channel of revenue amounting to nearly 6.74% of Pashion Footwear’s monthly gross merchandise value. Each month, that percentage has continued to grow, suggesting the program’s sustainable position as an important growth channel.

Also, optimizing the social-media-to-eComm shopping funnel with Influencer Storefronts has allowed Pashion Footwear to convert new social leads at a rate 680% higher than its site’s typical average.

On top of that, 4 out of every 10 shoppers who complete purchases through Influencer Storefronts are first-time customers with a substantially cheaper CAC. In fact, the average CAC in the fashion industry is $66, whereas for Pashion’s Storefront shoppers it is $51.07 (the average commission paid to creators for each new customer) — a CPA that is 22.6% lower than average.

And all of these milestones are achieved with little management, and a small team overseeing all 200 members, Storefronts, and affiliate discounts. LoudCrowd’s automations and specialized integration with Loyalty Lion make for seamless delivery of creator communications, points, commission payouts, and more.
